7th Annual Recovery Day 5k Run
HELP PROVIDE AID TO THOSE IN RECOVERY: All event proceeds will benefit the Utah Substance Abuse Recovery Alliance in the effort to establish Recovery Community Organizations all across Utah.
DATE: Saturday, September 20 2008 at the Gallivan Center (downtown SLC between Main and State and 200 and 300 South. From 8:00 am to 9:00 am.
LOCATION: Race goes through Memory Grove and ends at the Gallivan Center. PARKING: Available at the Gallivan Center and along streets.
REGISTRATION INFO: To pay by check & register now click here. Registration Fee is $20 dollars before Sept. 15 2008 after Sept. 15 - $25 dollars. Alternatively you can download the mail-in form by clicking here.
USATF CERTIFIED COURSE: The course is a scenic out and back route through Memory Grove with a gradual climb going out and a fast finish.
TIMING: Timing will be provided.
AWARDS: The top Male and Female will receive a prize.
WHEELCHAIRS: The entire course is wheelchair accessible.
IN ABSENTIA: If you cannot attend the day of the race you can still register and your t-shirt will be available for pick up at the USARA office at 5397 S. Vine Street Salt Lake City, UT 84107.
"HANGING OUT" DIVISION: Bring your favorite chair, throw on your t-shirt and cheer the runners on!
