USARA (formerly SARA-Utah) is a grassroots, community-based membership organization of individuals in recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction, their families, friends and committed community supporters. The mission of SARA-Utah is to celebrate recovery, identify and advocate for needed services, and decrease stigma and discrimination by educating the public about the nature of substance abuse. The mission is best met when there is strong membership in the Alliance.
